DailyEconomic – Belgium, one of the world’s richest countries, has been doing well in terms of median wealth, according to UBS’s 2023 Global Wealth Report.
Median wealth per capita in Belgium was $256,187 in 2023, but slightly behind Luxembourg (US$372,258) and Australia (US$261,805).
The report cited financial assets, pension savings and home ownership rates among Belgians as the main reasons, while also showing a more equitable distribution of wealth in the country.
