60,000 job vacancies exist in France industrial sector

France’s Tribune reported on November 24 that France’s Industry Week will be held from November 27 to December 3, and France’s ministerial representative for industry, Roland Lescure , highlighted the recruitment issue at a press conference, saying that there are currently 60,000 vacancies in the industrial sector, and that Industry Week will be utilized to enhance the industry’s attractiveness to young people.

According to reports, in the next 10 years, the French industrial sector will have 800,000 people retired, the need to recruit 1.3 million people to promote re-industrialization. France’s National Institute of Statistics survey shows that every 1 billion euros of value-added industries back to France, will create 24,400 jobs. Roland Lescure also said that in addition to vigorously promote the employment of young people in France, but also through the recruitment of foreign workers, to fill the 100,000 to 200,000 job vacancies.
